University of Pennsylvania is one of America’s oldest universities (founded in 1740) and was one of the first US research institutes to join IN-PART in August 2015. Over the 3 years of using the platform, University of Pennsylvania has received significant interest from our network of R&D professionals looking to collaborate with cutting-edge research. Derrick Leach, Marketing Analyst at Penn Center for Innovation, shared his thoughts on using IN-PART to showcase collaboration opportunities to industry, in particular, the new dashboard that allows universities to easily manage all of their content on the platform:
I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about the new [technology] submission process. Submitting content that we have recently posted on our own Technology Directory has become so much easier. I know that I can log into IN-PART, paste the technology title and the URL, click submit and then have confidence when the folks on your end post it to the IN-PART website. The process on my end takes literally less than 30 seconds, which is great because it means I can submit the techs with no hiccups and get back to whatever else is on my task list for that particular day.
